Nellore selected for global school under PPP mode

Nellore city has been chosen by the Govt of AP for setting up of three international schools under PPP mode in the first phase. Other two schools are coming up in Visakhapatnam and Tirupathi. The government is allotting 15 to 20 acres for these international schools.  The schools are meant to be for the children of expatriates and high net-worth individuals, as part of government’s plan to create social infrastructure to attract investments.

Nellore has been chosen over Vijayawada and Guntur due to the presence of Sri City, SHAR and the Krishnapatnam Port. The schools will have International Baccalaureate (IB), Cambridge International General Certificate of Secondary Education (IGCSE) or some other international curriculum.
