Nellore district social forestry division has decided to grow 42.42 lakh teak plants in 37 nurseries across the district. Another 22 lakh plants of various tree will also be grown at an expenditure of Rs34 lakh. The department is also planning to plant trees along 90 km of roads during 2012.
