The Delhi-based Central Railside Warehouse Company Ltd. is likely to set up a railside warehouse and a logistic park at the Kisan special economic zone (SEZ) promoted by Iffco at Racharlapadu village in Kodvalur mandal, 25 kms away from Nellore.
According to information, the National Collateral Management Services Limited (NCMSL) has also sought land at the Kisan SEZ. NCMSL is a leading organisation providing a bouquet of services to manage risks across various stages of commodity and inventory handling under a single umbrella. NCMSL is likely to establish dairy, cold storage and warehousing facilities at the SEZ.
Meanwhile, the drinking water scheme to bring water from Kanigiri reservoir to the SEZ is nearing completion and the government also sanctioned 60 MW power for the SEZ. Authorities of the Kisan SEZ allotted 20 acres of land to set up a substation.
