Shasun Pharmaceuticals is investing about Rs50 crore to build drug intermediates plant in Naidupeta, Nellore, Andhra Pradesh, India. These intermediates will be used as active pharmaceutical ingredients in some of its drugs derived from petroleum products. The facility is expected to start operations by January 2013 with an annual capacity of 12,000 tonne per year.
